Visit of Tanah Lot and Taman Ayun temples, and of Jatiluwih’s rice paddies
Your guide will pick you up at the hotel after breakfast, and the day will begin with a visit of the famous Tanah Lot Temple, a secular temple perched on a rock in the Indian Ocean.
He will then lead you to a second temple, Taman Ayun, another picturesque place typical of Bali, consisting of the temple, gardens, ponds and canals. A must see!
Then, you will head to the Jatiluwih rice fields, located in the center of the island, and classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the fresh mountain air, while enjoying lunch with a breathtaking view, then finish with a guided tour of this timeless space, surrounded by rice fields as far as the eye can see.
Balinese cooking class, walk in the primary jungle and crossing of the Tamblingan lake by pirogue
Your guide will pick you up at the hotel after breakfast, to take you to the traditional Bedugul market, where you will pick up the necessary ingredients for the cooking class that will follow. On the menu, original recipes, which you can easily reproduce once back home to amaze your friends. An explosion of Asian flavors!
After lunch (you will enjoy the dishes you have cooked), you will explore the primary jungle, consisting of millennia trees. An easy walk, about one hour, which will take you to a small pier at the edge of Lake Tambligan, which you will cross by pirogue to finish this day of discovery in the Balinese mountains.
Visit of Ubud, the Monkey Forest, Tegallalang’s rice paddies and Gunung Kawi Temple
Ubud, a handicraft village located an hour from Seminyak, offers spectacular views on the nature and the rice fields, especially with the famous “Monkey Forest”, as well as the rice fields of Tegallalang. After lunch, we will take you to visit the ancient Hindu temple of Gunung Kawi (eleventh century), with its sculptures and alcoves carved into the rock.
Visit of Uluwatu’s Temple, Kecak Dance and sunset one the cliff, dinner at Jimbaran beach
Uluwatu, located at the southern tip of the island and the bukit, has experienced a real boom in recent years. First a small village frequented by surfers (world famous surf spot), it has now become a must-see place for tourists, or expatriates who want to live in Bali differently.
The temple, located on the edge of a cliff, offers breathtaking views of the ocean. Following the temple visit, you will attend Kecak Dance, a Balinese ritual that takes place every evening at sunset, where the dancers / singers will give you an unforgettable cultural experience (might induce goosebumps!)
Finally, to end this beautiful day, we will take you to enjoy a meal on the beach at Jimbaran fish market. Fish and seafood freshly caught during the day will be barbecued and served at the table with your feet in the sand (cost of the meal not included in the price).
Surf lesson/Yoga or Movement classes
Canggu, the new Balinese mecca for surfers, is the perfect place to learn this sport. Different beaches offer different types of waves, to satisfy both beginners and more experienced surfers.
We will leave you in the expert hands of our local surf teachers, who will provide you with the equipment, and teach you how to “ride” your first waves safely.
Golf being a physical as well as a mental sport, Bali Birdie Golf also offers yoga lessons. The practice of yoga allows you to learn to manage certain emotions, and free your mind to focus fully on your game.
We also offer “movement” courses. This sport which takes its roots in fitness and gymnastics, will teach you to move your body in a new, more natural way, and therefore to gain in motor skills, flexibility, dynamism and explosiveness.
Diving and snorkeling in Nusa Lembongan, and discovery trip around the island
Bali is also known for its marine biodiversity. Only 30 minutes by boat from Bali are the islands of Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida. These 3 islands, with their heavenly beaches will offer you a change of scenery.
Your guide will pick you up after breakfast and take you by boat to visit the most exciting diving spots. On the program for this nearly 3 hours excursion: manta rays, sea turtles, fluorescent fish and corals… You will be amazed! (3 snorkeling spots: Manta Bay, Turtle Bay and Gamat Bay).
Following this experience, your guide will take you to lunch, and take a tour of the islands of Lembongan and Ceningan, the famous “yellow bridge” which connects the two islands and the turquoise blue lagoon where seaweeds are cultivated ancestral way.
At the end of the day, you will enjoy the sunset while sipping on fresh cocktails on the hotel’s private beach.
Ascension of mount Batur and hot water springs
Mount Batur, located in the Balinese region of Bangli, is an active volcano that rises to 1,717 meters above sea level. Our driver will pick you up at 2am (trust us, it’s worth it). After about 1h30 of driving, you will start the ascension, relatively easy, which will take about 2 hours. Once at the top, you will watch the sunrise while enjoying tea or coffee. Under your eyes will gradually reveal the island of Lombok, and its volcano Mount Rinjani (3,726 meters), the Strait of Lombok, and finally the volcanoes Agung (3,142 meters) and Abang (2,152 meters), and the lake Batur. A breathtaking experience. In the mid-morning, after your physical exert, your guide will take you to bathe and relax in hot springs.
Visit of Bali Bird Park
and Penglipuran Village
Bali Bird Park is a zoological park dedicated to birds. During your visit, you will stroll through this beautiful and lush park, surrounded by hundreds of free birds. An equally interesting and relaxing experience.
Following this, your guide will take you to visit the traditional Balinese village of Penglipuran. A village with surprising decorations that will immerse you in Balinese folklore.
